CALL FOR ARTISTS

Do you have a theatre project about the creepy, the uncanny, the haunted or the strange in need of a venue?
We would like to hear from you, especially if you are a magician, puppeteer, sideshow performer, or an IBPOC and LGBTQ+ creator or company.

F.A.Q.

“I don’t have a complicated show, just lights up and down, do I need to hire your technician?”

A. If you have used the ETC Ion Console in the past then most likely no. But if you haven’t used a program to plot lights and create cues then we strongly recommend you hire our amazing technicians for $25/ hour (3 hour call minimum). Some people choose to hire them for a rehearsal and to program the board with your show so that in turn your stage manager can run the show. Or some choose to have our technicians run the rehearsal and entire show run, it’s up to you!

Q. “What’s the difference between Exclusive vs. Non-Exclusive bookings?”

A. Exclusive is just that: you have the place to yourself! No one else can book the space. Non-Exclusive means we will get your schedule, say you are rehearsing 9AM-5PM, and we will be able to book in someone for an evening slot once we confirm with you. Non-exclusive is a shared space with your booking as the priority, and we are able to be flexible for other renters.

Q. “What do your Front of House staff do?”

A. Our FOH/Box Office staff can greet and assist patrons, help ensure audience members are following our house COVID19 Protocols, and run your cash/debit sales Box Office through our system; taking tickets and making sales for you.

Q. “It says you accept Square for digital sales (credit card, debit, tap-to-pay), how do I take advantage of that?”

A. We would love to help you with your box office and ticketing! We are currently using ticketscene.ca for our ticketing needs, and should you like, for a $50 set up fee we can create a digital box office option for you. Pair this with our Front of House staffing option ($25/hour with 2 hour minimum) and we can set up our Digital Box Office that allows patrons to make card and mobile tap ticket sales at the door.

Q. “Are you wheelchair accessible?”

A. We have a ramp at our Queen Street entrance, with a manual door. We also have the ability to remove chairs to make way for wheelchairs in our audience. Our first floor unisex washroom is also wheelchair compatible.
