Eldritch Theatre Presents

Directed by Ric Waugh

Starring: Craig Lauzon, Jeanie Calleja, Lisa Norton, Kimwun Perehinec & Eric Woolfe

The Dead rise from their graves to feast on the flesh of the living in a suburban high school in 1985. A jock, a brain, a rebel, a preppie and a basket-case barricade themselves in their school cafeteria to fend off the gathering hordes of their hungry, undead friends, only to discover that their real enemies are each other.

It’s totally the Breakfast Club, but like with Zombies.

Nicholas Rice Presents

Back by popular demand! The cast, crew, and creative team is just me… Nicholas Rice.

I started out in Winnipeg as a shy, fatherless, Jewish kid. Now I’m 74. I’ve been acting professionally for over 50 years, and teaching, writing, being a dad, a lover, a friend — and living what I feel has been and continues to be a charmed life. I’ve amassed some stories through the years — some are sad, some are funny, all are totally true — and Another Side of Rice is my opportunity to share more of them with you.

Spindle Collective in Associate With Eldritch Theatre

Following the critical acclaim of spindle collective’s first work, SAMCA, comes a new dark folklore play by Natalia Bushnik and Kathleen Welch. síofra follows a newlywed couple in Belclare, Ireland, in the late 1800’s, and the tragedy that occurs when they build a home on a supposed ‘fairy mound’ underneath the famed Knockma Hill. Exploring the myth of Irish changelings, síofra is Act II of the ‘Dark Mother Trilogy’, a series of three horror-theatre plays exploring fertility and motherhood through the dark folklore of three different countries: Romania (SAMCA), Ireland (síofra), and Germany (spilleHOLLE). With an extremely talented ensemble cast and original music by Welch, join us at the foot of Knockma Hill, Ireland for a play that is both sinister and mysterious.

June 17th – 28th, 2026

When Eldritch Theatre assumed management of the Red Sandcastle Theatre, its ghoulish minions began searching for a way to alert patrons about especially noteworthy, exciting, or ground breaking productions occurring in the space.
To this end, we too are proud to introduce the “Eldritch Eye”, an icon that patrons can see on a poster or social media post and know that a particular production or rental company is Eldritch approved and deserving of your attention. It’s the equivalent of two mummified thumbs up!

Q. “Are you wheelchair accessible?”

A. We have a ramp at our Queen Street entrance, with a manual door.
We also have the ability to remove chairs to make way for wheelchairs in our audience. Our first floor unisex washroom is also wheelchair compatible.
